    Motions:
    I recommend the School Board approve an Agreement for Architectural Design Services as described above in the  amount of $2,666,000.00 to Zyscovich, Inc., and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents for Jupiter Farms Area Middle School, 03-NN, Project No. 0041-8383. - PASS
    Minutes: Architectural design services required for development of a master site plan and permitted design documents necessary for construction of a grade 5 through 8, 1014 student station, 155,519 gross square foot middle school with related site and athletic facilities. The design process will also include advanced schematic design of a 40,618 gross square foot classroom addition for future expansion. The master planning activities include a comprehensive assessment of an approximately 150 acre, undeveloped site to incorporate construction of the middle school with consideration for future construction of an elementary school and high school. Design services will incorporate required surveys, environmental mitigation, utility and off-site civil requirements necessary to develop the site according to the master site plan. Estimated Budget for Planning and Design: $2,296,000. Estimated Budget for Construction: $33,005,000. Design Fee Summary: Fee for Basic Services inclusive of basic Civil Engineering, Landscape Design, Construction Administration and Advanced Schematic Design of the future addition: $1,873,000 Fee for the development of a Master Site Plan: $184,750 Fee for Supplemental Design Services inclusive of Food Service, Traffic, Cost Estimating and MEED: $115,750 Fee for Extraordinary Civil Engineering and Environmental Design including water and wastewater treatment plant, fire pump station, off-site turn lanes, environmental assessment and tigation: $130,000 Funds Available For: Required Surveys: $100,000. Additional Services: $175,000. Reimbursable Expenses: $87,500. Total Contract Award: $2,666,000. Nine (9) firms responded to the RFP of which three (3) were shortlisted. The final ranking of the Selection Committee is as follows: (1)Zyscovich, Inc. (2) BRPH Architects-Engineers, Inc. (3) Schenkel Shultz Architecture Minority Participation: 20%
